There are so many websites available that sometimes, it's difficult to know where to go for help first. The messages are often the same; mental health begins with putting yourself first and taking time to relax, exercise, eat well and finding the positives in life. We hope the following will help you, and your family, if you need it.

The Mental Health Foundation
The Foundation believe that forming a family and parenting is an important part of life, with many changes taking place. Both mothers' and fathers' mental health may be affected during this transition, which may influence their child's mental health. They work on a variety of innovative projects with children and young people. The website has a range of content designed to give you more information about mental health and to help you to look after your mental health. The site includes podcasts, videos, inspiring stories and information about getting help if you're struggling.

CAMHS Resources
This website was created for young people, carers and professionals to pool together lots of helpful resources from across the internet that are available to help support your mental health and well-being. Whilst this is not an official NHS site, it has been constructed by a CAMHS professional to offer help.
CAMHS have also put together a selection of useful videos dedicated for the use of anyone supporting children and young people with a Learning Disability or Autism. Their videos were designed to pass on helpful information in an easy, informative way which you can watch as frequently as you need. The videos below are recorded by clinicians within our team, and the videos are grouped by category for your convenience. Please click on any of the links to be taken to the collection of videos for each category.
