We warmly welcome you to Stubbin Wood School & Nursery. We are a multi-sited special school for children and young people, all of whom have an Education Health Care Plan. We have 4 sites across north Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire including a community nursery. 

Our school is a place where children and young people are at the centre of everything we do.  We care deeply for our children and work to meet their needs to the very best of our ability. We have high aspirations for all our children and young people, and we value each one of them as unique members of our school community. Working in partnership with parents, carers and the local community, we work hard to provide our children and young people with the best possible life chances and experiences. 

Our school is on a journey of rapid improvement driven by a clear vision and commitment to improving the quality of provision. Exciting times lie ahead as we move forward! Our website is therefore under development in parts as we make changes to reflect ongoing improvements.
