We are committed to providing a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can learn, develop, and thrive. Our nursery offers high-quality early years provision for young children in a safe and supportive setting, helping them build confidence, independence, and a love of learning through play and exploration.

Admissions Criteria

Children can attend our Nursery from the age of 3 years old. Children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) may be eligible to start from the age of 2½ years.

Applications for nursery places can be collected directly from the Nursery. Places are allocated in the order that completed applications are received.

Places for children with an EHCP are offered through consultation via the Derbyshire Hub.

How and When to Apply

Application forms are available from the Nursery throughout the year. We encourage parents and carers to apply as early as possible, as places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.

For children with an EHCP, admissions are coordinated through Derbyshire Hub consultations.

Funded Provision Sessions and Hours

We offer funded nursery provision during the following sessions:

• Full Day: 9:00am – 3:00pm
• Morning Session: 9:00am – 11:30am
• Afternoon Session: 12:30pm – 3:00pm

The Nursery operates Monday to Friday during term time only.

Optional Extras

There are no compulsory optional extras.

However, we do ask for a voluntary contribution towards cooking activities and alternative snacks provided within the Nursery experience.
