Key Stage 3 is for children in Years 7-9 of their secondary-age schooling. 

The curriculum in KS3 builds on the foundational skills and knowledge acquired in primary (KS1 & 2) with an emphasis on developing necessary skills and independence for their future. In Year 9, pupils and families begin to consider preparing for adulthood at the Annual Review.
