Part of TEAM Education Trust

We were delighted to be invited by Chesterfield Football Club to take part in a unique world record attempt held at the SMH Group Stadium on 25th September. The club set out to break the record for the largest number of people participating simultaneously in an accessible, seated exercise session. The event formed part of the club’s ongoing commitment to inclusion, community involvement, and promoting healthy lifestyles for people of all abilities.
Students from our school were thrilled to be included in such a memorable occasion. From the moment they arrived, there was a real buzz of excitement as they joined hundreds of participants from across the region. The exercises were designed to be fully inclusive, allowing everyone, regardless of physical ability, to get involved and contribute to the record attempt.
Guided by trained instructors and supported by Chesterfield FC staff, the students threw themselves into the session with enthusiasm. They followed each routine with energy and determination, helping create an uplifting atmosphere across the stadium. Staff members were incredibly proud to see the students engaging so confidently and enjoying the experience from start to finish.
The event not only gave our students the chance to participate in an official world record attempt, but also offered them a valuable opportunity to be part of a wider community celebration. Regardless of the final outcome, the day was a fantastic success and one our students will remember for a long time.
We’d like to thank Chesterfield Football Club for inviting us and for organising such an inclusive and inspiring event.
